This project focused on the heart of the home : the kitchen. It is the most important room in the house when it comes to reselling and sets the tone for the rest of the house. The old kitchen was dated and tired, and despite its size, lacked bench and storage space.
Cork flooring and timber cabinetry with orange honey tones dated this kitchen. A breakfast bar was an important request. The new kitchen ‘s modern design, fittings and finishes are now in keeping with the existing feature timber and glazed staircase. The joinery’s satin finish in Dulux White Beach Quarter as well as the new floating timber boards create a neutral and light ambience. The kitchen feels open and spacious. The floor to ceiling joinery contain an appliance cupboard, pantry, broom cupboard and more.
There is ample circulation space around the island bench and in front of the cooktop, enabling multiple ‘work stations’. Eat, drink and be merry!
